  For all those that choose to join us, we travel north west to Nyngan and onto Broken Hill, cross into South Australia to Port Augusta, visiting Wadlata Outback Museum. Stop at Woomera to visit Missile Museum on our way to Coober Pedy for 2 nights. We go to the Breakaways and a mine tour with time to purchase an opal or two. From here its over to Oodnadatta, an Aboriginal town and a station on the Old Ghan Railway line. Heading down the Oodnadatta Track following the Old Ghan Railway looking at the old bridges and sidings. Continuing down the track we stop at the Mound Springs and then Maree, another Aboriginal town and the bottom of the Track. We turn onto the Birdsville Track with a stop at Mungarannie Hotel before reaching Birdsville. We stay here for three nights with visits to Big Red and the best working museum in Australia. Go to the races before leaving on our way to Longreach to visit The Hall of Fame and Qantas Museum. We head east to Emerald and some fossicking for rubies before heading to Carnarvon Gorge for 2 nights. Leaving here travel through to Roma the birth place of oil and gas in Queensland and then onto Moree.

This tour will be a once in a lifetime experience camping and/or cabins safari takes us via Nyngan, Broken Hill, Port Augusta to Coober Pedy (2 nights). Then down the Oodnadata Track.  Arriving in William Creek where those that want to fly over Lake Eyre can at own expense.  Continue on and then up the Birdsville Track to enjoy a day at the Birdsville Races (3 nights). From here we explore outback Queensland with 2 nights at Longreach and Carnarvon Gorge.

Explore the full potential of yourself & your own 4WD as you drive your own vehicle in the safety of numbers with experienced guides. Minimal experience is required to join any of our adventures. If you own your own vehicle but have no one to go 4WDriving with then join a 4WD Tagalong with the security of a guide to lead of the beaten track as well as other people to go with. Load your 4WD up ready to go on holidays then drive to the pre determined location where you meet your guide and other participants on tour. Minor breakdown and recovery service is provided. The tours that we do are ideal for those not wanting to knock their 4WD’s around but want the adventure holiday with an experienced guide to show you all the tracks and points of interest along the way.

 

9 Day Victorian High Country

We meet in Jindabyne and then on through Thredbo to the Murray River where we ford it and start 4wdriving into the Mountains through some of the most scenic and interesting country that you will find. We travel up one valley filled with tree ferns and make 54 creek crossings. Climb and descend some very long steep hills, (nothing dangerous) look at old gold mining areas. Eventually finding our way out to Myrtleford where we say our fond farewells eight days later. All camps sites have pit toilets and showers can be had every second night or wherever there is water available. We do camp beside creeks and rivers where you can go for a swim but no soap.
